The F–word. We’ve all heard it, we’ve all said it, a lot of us have even done it: Fundraising.
Fundraising is going to be one of the hardest parts of this trip. I am a planner, I am a worrier. I can not raise $14,000 by October all by myself. I need supporters, I need help. This is something that I can not do alone. So far I have raised $1,200 for my trip; I am almost 9% funded. I want to thank all of my generous supporters for their donations. I hope that you will consider supporting me along this journey.
So that being said I am starting my first fundraiser today! I have decided to do a March Madness Bracket Pool! The cost will be $10 for one bracket and $17 for 2. This gives you the opportunity to double your chances at winning the cash prize. That’s right, I said cash prize. Depending on how many people join the pool the prize will go up! So tell your friends, aunts, uncles; get your game face on and get ready to play!

I need your help! I know that investing your hard earned money for a kid to travel the world may not sound like a good investment to you. But I can tell you that is not all that your money is going to. By supporting me on this trip you are investing in the lives of men, women, and children in Guatemala, Thailand, Malawi, and wherever else I will be. By going to these countries I will be giving hope to the hopeless and loving on the poorest of poorest. Your donation will allow me to do this. Your donation will be funding not just some kid traveling to three different countries, your donation will be changing lives.
Not only do I need your financial support but I would love for your prayer support as well. This journey is 9 months long, I have never done anything like this before. I have fears and anxieties beyond belief. But I know that if God wants me to go on this trip I will be supported and have the means to go.
