Month 10
WHAT!!!!
I know it's crazy but it's true my race it almost over. Don't worry though it don't get boring even month ten is full of surprises.
As our mini bus came to a stop in front of a giant field of rubble I assumed our driver was just stopping to pee. I was shocked when he insisted that we had arrive. We unloaded and began to carry our packs through the rubble and mud that clung onto are shoes. We were headed to a building that definitly didn't look like what we exspected. Are information for this month had said huge kitchen, real beds, hot water, American bathroom, washer.
never have exspectations ….
We were shown to are room for the month where we would be sleeping on the floor. Luckly by this point on the race we are used to change and just going with the flow. Quickly, we began to thank God for the things we did have such as matresses on the floor. Food for each meal even if I still don't know what it is.
Our ministrty this month is manual labor which is fun but hard. We pretty much spent our first few days searching for bricks and stacking them. Since then we have been moving our stacks of bricks to the other side of the property and restacking them. We work from 8:00am – 6:00pm. We have lunch 1:00pm -1:30pm. My team gets to leave work early for English classes. We have English classes 3:30pm – 7:30pm then we walk home just in time for dinner.

This month has been full of surprises from our living arrangements to the food we are served. It's been a harder month but I think God for the hard months cause it's in those times He streaches and grows us. Please keep us in your prayers that we could work as unto the Lord. Thanks!
