I have walked the streets of Penang, Malaysia for almost a month now. If you walk these streets in the day you will see the hidden beauty. There is amazing street art around every corner like secret gems.

Walking these streets you will also see such beautiful buildings, and amazing old cemeteries. Everything is so beautiful and so unique that it doesn't seem real.

Penang, is also know as the food capital because of all the different cultures that come together here. So as you walk the streets you will see tons of street vender's. They say if you eat the street food four times a day it would still take you two years to taste it all.

That is all great but what I love more is walking the streets of Malaysia at night. Which is what we do at least once a week.If you walk the streets of Malaysia at night you might see homeless men and woman sleeping. You might see people doing drugs. You might see girls on the corners waiting for business. Or even a guy buying a girl. I have seen all these things in the short time I've been here.

Tonight,we walked the streets of Malaysia for the last time before we leave. We went down a alley where girls, guys, and man-ladies do there business. We walked the street stopping to sit and talked with them. We listened to some of their stories and got to pray for a few of them.

This was the first time I had been down this street. You could feel the darkness and see the hopelessness in their eyes. I was overwhelmed with love for these people. I found myself not wanting to leave. I looked around and thought this is what God is all about stopping for the one, loving the one. The one who feels all alone and hopeless God sees that one.

Luke 15:3-7 Then Jesus told them this parable: "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

God sent us down a alley in the middle of nowhere just to love these people. Just to bring them some joy. To tell them Jesus loves you and you are so beautiful to Him. That night we had one lady who decided she wanted to get saved. We got to talk to another lady named Davie about getting off the streets. She had got a real job but then didn't know how she could keep it when she is homeless. Cause she doesn't have a place to sleep or shower. We got to tell her about the homeless shelter and help her find ways to make it work. If that was the only reason our whole route got switched and we came to Malaysia.
If it was just for these ladies that was worth it.

Thank you Jesus for letting me be part of what you are doing in Malaysia.
