Serving here is amazing, I love to serve these people. I think one reason is because of their heart to serve others. This organization is amazing. We can see what they are doing to help the people here in Thialand and when I see that it brings me so much joy. It makes me want to do my part – whatever that is. I think the people we have got to serve under feel the same way because I can see their heart to serve also.

For example, Bud is amazing. He has been such a blessing to us this month. He lives on the property that we have been camping on. He spends his days working cutting down the jungle, planting and taking care of the garden, making sure everything stays watered, I can't even list all the things he does in just one day. He works harder than anyone I know and if I even tried to keep up with him I think I would pass out from exhustion. He has left everything to serve God and plans on being here the rest of his life. He lives a layed down life and you can see the love of God in his eyes. Bud is a very humble man and is always ready to serve. He makes us the most amazing breakfast every morning. He has made us pancakes, french toast, things we would never even expect on the race. We would have never known if he hadn't told us but bud is seventy-one. It amazes me cause the things he does, the way he works, most people couldn't keep up.

Mike and Margie, the more I get to know them the more I love them. As we watch them with the children I can see how much they love the kids. They also love to serve. They do so much such as taking the kids to school and picking them up, driving us not only where we need to go but also on fun little cultural trips, picking up all the other missionaries from the airport as they come in, also dropping them off when it's time to go. I feel like they are always busy but I can tell that they just love it. They love what they are getting to do here, they love to serve.

This month we have been blessed to serve. We have cut down the jungle with machettes, weeded gardens, moved bamboo poles, unstacked piles of wood and restack them in a way they wouldn't rot, moved steel, painted, cleaned up trash, cleared crazy brush with the worst briers in the world, planted bannana trees, grated tile, raked leafs, cut dead leaves off of trees and planted corn. The list could go on and on, but I have loved it. Because it is all worth it at the end of the day when we get to visit the kids. When we get to see their smiling faces and know that our work is helping them. That they are safe and they won't have to go through things that they might have had to if they were not here. To see them so free and so full of joy, that is what gives me joy. Even if my tent gets infested with ants (which it has) or if I get scrapes and brusies from the brush (which I'm covered in). Yes, even when the red ants attack me while I'm cutting down a tree, I am thankful that I got to serve and I am so thankful for the people who are here serving full time.

Thank you Jesus for this amazing oppurtunity we've had. I can't lie, I am going to miss this place so much and I wish we had eleven more months here, but I know God has plans for every month and every country and I can't wait.
