May or may not be slacking already on blogage, but better late than never. We’re in Kuala Lumpur now working with Carol and Peter Loh(really inspiring, hard working amazing people) who have two restaurants, which they use as community outreaches, and tons of other ministries going on here. Just got back from preaching/singing/dancing/praying at about five different villages- let’s just say David and Goliath makes for a mean skit and I could do the hand motions to "Lord I Lift Your Name on High" in my sleep. I’ve also helped serve in the restaurant, which is bringin’ me right back to my Panera glory days.

Malaysia= most interesting place I’ve ever been…couldn’t tell you what a Malaysian looks like because there are so many different people here-it’s an Indian, Chinese, Malay concoction everywhere. It’s a different atmosphere here from the Philippines too- way more Muslim, more modern(maybe that’s just because we’re city living this month), and in general it’s less open/joyful/warm. Hotter than hades here, but the food is awesome-especially my favorite addition, teh tirrah- tastes like Tetley man, yes please.

-Gotten to lead several church services and even get a glimpse into prostitute ministry-sweet caroline-it’s been a cool week.

-Baptized two of my teammates in this way exotic waterfall-esque place that was seriously in the middle of nowhere and reminded me of Jurassic Park.

-Attempting to get used to the customs here, which include not pointing, "cheers"-ing, or showing the bottom of your feet— I’ve been highly offensive.

God’s really challenging me this month with a ministry outside of my comfort zone- especially with the Muslim population, prostitute outreach, and even little kids church stuff. More and more thankful for my team and just so impressed with how God is changing them, growing them, and how He’s using us together- it’s definitely been something not of our own doing.
