I'm here in the Philippines- yes please… What a cool place to start out- we're at an awesome house with possibly better food than home, especially with what I thought was white kiwi, but is called dragonfruit. By Sunday we'll head out to our ministry sites, which will be on one of the islands here. It's way more modern here than I thought-ex: saw an Adam Lambert billboard, and there is a mall where I may or may not have karaoke'd Celine Dion. The people are so friendly and welcoming, so I think this place was perfect to ease into the World Race+ just get over jetlag, which was a kick in the head.
Wanted to say thanks so much to everyone who made it possible for me to live life for things that matter this year. It's so cool that I get the chance to do this, and I couldn't have done it/do it without you. Still need support/prayers because the thought of leading my team this year remains semi-overwhelming, but I'm grateful for the opportunity and ready to see what God does through it all.
