SO. Kelsey Yongue has inspired me in so many ways, it is ridiculous. I think to her, our chats are just chats, but they always manage to touch me on a spiritual level. She has a presence… that is deeply rooted in the spirit… so all her words are spoken with the sweetness of a heavenly soul.
At media camp Kelsey and I entertained a conversation concerning the presence of God… consciously recognising him everywhere and in everything.
She told me that her mentor once gave her advice that changed her life… to “walk in the presence of the Lord is like walking with a dove on your shoulder… You would walk differently, ever present of the bird…”
And now this advice has changed mine.
This analogy has been on my mind very regularly, hence my new tattoo, designed after my father’s shoulder piece.
Kelsey has been such a blessing, and it terrifies me that she almost couldn’t join us on the trip due to fundraising. Please prayerfully consider supporting Kelsey so she can make her next deadline. I can not imagine the race without her; our future ministries would be at such a loss if she were unable to join them.
Thank You
