God has given each one of us diverse talents and skills. I believe that he doesn’t give us these talents solely for our own pleasure, but to serve the world in practical and creative ways. When I look around, I continue to be blessed by the talented people that God has surrounded me with and I am so grateful that a few of these individuals have come forward to donate their time and talents to help send me on the World Race. Here are the details for two current fundraisers made possible by the creativity and generosity of others…
- Cooking for a Mission: Throughout the month of July you can shop my online Pampered Chef Party at http://new.pamperedchef.com/pws/heatherluvstocook/pws-show-search by simply entering “Amber Hoffmann” or “Adventures in Missions” as the host name. A portion of the proceeds will be used to support ministry in the 11 countries I will travel to next year. What’s even better is that the Pampered Chef Consultant, Heather, is also contributing her commissions received from this month’s sales. - The Traveler: The Traveler is a pocket-sized painting with big impact. Check out this print and others by Courtney of CoHo Designs at https://squareup.com/market/coho-design-company/print-of-hand-painted-the-traveler-cubicle-art-by-coho-still-life-series. Each print is only $2.50 and is meant to be a piece of artwork that can be displayed in your home or office without requiring a large wall. The original hand-painted canvas will be auctioned off after the prints are sold out. This is a great way to support the World Race and have a little keepsake to display as a reminder to pray for me, my squad, and the ministries which we are working with on the field.
Both of these opportunities demonstrate that when we develop and use our talents, we are able to build God’s kingdom in unique ways. I pray that Heather, Courtney, and my entire support team receives joy from their generosity and a chance to grow through their passions of cooking, painting, and serving the Lord.
