Welcome to my World Race Blog! That’s right…after hours, months, and years of reading race blogs…I finally have my very own! God has been at work preparing my heart and mind for this journey to 11 countries in 11 months to serve “the least of these” while living in authentic community! I am so excited to share this experience alongside YOU – my squadmates, my friends and family at home, my prayer team, my supporters, and of course all of you future racers!
In January of 2015, I will leave the comforts of my apartment and my 9-5 job for the following countries: Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, India, Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Malawi, and Zambia. Yes, I am an adventure seeker, however; this race is not as much about where I will go but more importantly it is about who I will serve.
“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me — the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” (Acts 20:24)
