I have decided Thailand is the land of lies. I will explain..
We live down the street from a 7eleven, and many of the drinks and
food they have are labeled as things we have back in the states,
but it never tastes like that product, sometimes it a different
thing entirely.
Anyway, our ministry here is teaching english. We go to a different
school everyday and do english camps. We have had to slip Jesus
in in creative ways. But it always awesome to interact with the kids
and to be able to help them learn things they wouldn’t know otherwise.
After every school day the kids ask for our autographs, and take a
million pictures with us. It is awesome that they are so excited for us
to be there.
Ua is our contact and she is our Thai mom. She is amazing! She is always
so giving and loving. She will hold a special place in my heart forever!
I love her so much. Her husband is the pastor of the one church they have
in their city of 500,000. In which 20 people attend on a good day. It was great
to be able to be an encouragement to the congregation 🙂 They are all
amazing people, and it is such a blessing to be apart of their lives in a small
way.
And even though I don’t think God will call me back to Thailand, I am so thankful
for the time we have had here.
