Sundays are our days off this month at our ministry. So we some of us go to the mall close by to walk around and even catch a movie at the Cinemark there. Last sunday a group of us went and saw the new Narnia movie. I have enjoyed the other Narnia movies, so I thought, “oh yeah, this will be good.” Little did I know my whole world was about to be shaken up! I don’t want to ruin the movie for those of you who haven’t seen it, or read the book yet, but it was amazing. My heart, soul, and spirit were struck in a powerful way on many different levels. I left feeling convicted, encouraged, overwhelmed, and mainly just in love with Jesus all over again. God totally spoke to me through this movie on various levels; I had no idea how life changing it was going to be. The way it paints the picture of our relationship with Christ is truly beautiful, and heart changing. God has softened my heart more and more this past month, and He used this movie to speak to me on having compassion, and love for everyone in my life. To show me that loving my teammates is just as important as loving that orphan child in the barrios, or that man so drunk or high he can’t even function. Christ’s love is so deep that we cannot even begin to fathom it. My heart longs to be with Him, and to see His face, and to know His heart inside and out. To just sit at His feet. I would urge you to see this movie, and to really soak in what is being said, and the symbolism behind what is being depicted. It has changed my walk. God is so awesome. I pray that encourages you like it has me.
