GOD’S LOVE.
that is exactly what I witnessed today in the dump. Christ working through us to show love and compassion to the people we encountered there. Our team def had what I would call a divine appointment there today. The first man to walk up to us knew we were sent by God just for him, and if it truly was just for that one man, it was so worth it. If this entire year, was so that ONE man came to Christ, it was worth it. How much more did Christ give up so that we may have life. The children we met touched my heart. They have nothing, and yet some clothes and a sucker brought them such joy. As I watched them run around and play with the team and eachother, my heart leaped for them. Just as I know our father is heaven leaps for them, and that is what he is speaking to me, these are my children, these are my sons and daughters, you are the me they will see. How humbling to know that Christ chose us to be love to those kids, and to the men and women we met. I know God is at work here, I know there is still so much more to come. My prayer is to be as one of these children, so eager to love, and so easliy accepting of the gifts put before them. I want to soak in God’s love, and accept His gifts for me. Lord I just thank you for this beautiful glimpse of you today. You are so good. I love you father! In Jesus name. Amen.
