HELLO 🙂 My name is Amber Hoey, I am 21, and I am on the October 2010 team and couldn’t be more excited!! The Lord has been doing soo many amazing things in my life, and my family’s life, I can’t praise Him enough! My life consists of work, church, and the house of prayer. I love it! <3 Well to tell you a little about myself, I was born in Cali, and moved to Minnesota when I was 2. Our family then moved to Texas half-way through my second grade year. I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart to be my saviour when I was 3. He has really walked with me my entire life, and couldn’t imagine a life without Him. My parents also divorced when I was 3, so it was perfect timing. Thanks to the grace of God, my parents also remarried 3 years later! I am forever thankful. I was water baptised at age 12. I was only recently baptised in the Holy Spirit… which I thought I had been a long time ago, but clearly it was not real at that time. But God is faithful, and Has poured into me, like I didn’t know was possible! But anyway, that is a very condensed story of my life, and testimony. Some fun facts about me include: I am very sarcastic. I love coffee. Singing is necessary for life. I love playing my guitar, though I am not very good at it. I have a 15 yr old sister named Hope, that will be the hardest person to leave for the year. Jesus is truly my best friend! I have recently fallen in love with the House of Prayer. I love reading. I love rainy days. Revelation has to be my favorite book to do an in-depth study on. I love people. Also, I am pretty open, so feel free to ask me anything! OH YA… and GOD IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀

Hope is the coolest person eva’! I love her sooooo sooo much! She is one of the boldest, most honest people you’ll ever meet! She is def one of my best friends, and I don’t know what I would do, or where I would be without her!! I literally thank God for her everyday! 🙂
Kris is def like my adopted sister! I love her to death! <3 She is so awesome, and I am very glad she is apart of our lives.

Oh what to say of my dear father.. except that I am truly blessed! He is one of the best examples of God’s love I have witnessed in my life here on this earth. I think of the love and grace he has shown me, and then how much more my heavenly Father has, and it brings me to tears of joy and thankfulness. And how he has allowed God to break him, mold him, and restore him. The way he has trusted God to lead and change his life, inspires me, and reassures me that He(Christ) will never fail me, and I should always have hope in Him. The growth in my earthly father even in just these past few months has been amazing, and brings me such joy to see! I love you father!<3

I have the best mom in the world! I couldn’t ask for anything more! She is the strongest person I know! (and the most organized) lol. She always has encouraging words, a listening ear, and a hot cup of coffee to go with it! I can tell her anything, and she is my biggest prayer warrior! I can’t thank God enough for everything my mom does and is! I love her more then I can say! I love you my mother!!
Present day,
I am so excited to begin this journey. The Lord has put missions is my heart since I was a little kid, and He has been streching me and growing me in preparation for something like this! And after a few months of really praying about it, I know this is where He wants me! I am so thrilled to meet all of you that are called to this as well, and to get to know your hearts! I know this is going to be an amazing season. Can’t wait to get to know you! I love you already! 🙂
