Who am I?

I am Amber Barton from Bethany, Oklahoma. First time blogger, love trying new things, taking pictures, traveling, being active, going on adventures, spending time with family(I have three brothers two sisters), and I love to love others. Since 2013 I have been to Israel, Peru, Romania (twice), Austria, and Germany. My heart is in missions and I am so excited to see where God takes me. He has provided for all theses trips and I believe He will do the same for this one.

What is this blog for?

This blog is for you! As a potential supporter or follower of this amazing adventure I am about to embark on. This is to help you to stay connected with me, but also all the amazing people I am about to meet. To tell you their stories and my own throughout this journey. What adventure you might ask, well just keep reading! It is one that will take me to three different continents in nine months, with 54 people I have only just begun to know, and a hunger to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

When do I go?

Launch will be October 2nd, 2016!

Where do I go?

Ecuador (3 months), India (3 months), and Zambia (3 months)

Why?

We are all called to serve for our almighty Father and we are all called in different ways. Each person has the chance to make the choice to live for Christ or for the world. Some are called to be here in the states living for Christ and some are called out to other places. I feel that God has called me out away from my “normal” lifestyle, friends, family, and surroundings. To places I could not dream of and beyond. To be the hands and feet of Christ and to love as He would.

I hope these points answered some of your questions about me, and also about this journey I am so gratefully about to embark on. Please send an email to me with any question at any time. My email is in the contact portion of this blog. The tab is located on the left side, just below my picture. Also, if you are interested, subscribe to receive emails and or text messages when new posts are made.

God Bless you. Have an amazing day!
