I want to start a weekly "recap" of sorts. I want to acknowledge and remember the beauties of life and to really count my blessings. With that, I begin a blog series that will last indefinitely. Thankful Thursdays. So here we go.
I'm thankful to be living in Denver and to call it home.
I'm thankful to see the Lord showing up time and time again in the lives of those around me.
I'm thankful that the Lord decided to HEAR the prayers of the Dubs for Heather's Dad and to know that there was no other cancer in his body!!!
I'm thankful that the Lord allows us to be part of His MIRACLES.
I'm thankful that the Lord PROVIDED funds to allow all 45 of the Dubs launch in just over 2 weeks!!
I'm thankful that even in sin my Papa still LOVES me and PURSUES me
I'm thankful for breakfast dates who appreciate my cooking.
I'm thankful for wonderful families who make me feel at home in their homes.
I'm thankful for late night dates that keep me up until midnight watching a movie
I'm thankful for getting to make & eat dinner with my favorite roommate.
I'm thankful that the Lord's timing is PERFECT
I'm thankful to be taken care of and thought about.
I'm thankful for lightning that lights up the sky.
I'm thankful to have money to buy supplies for traveling
I'm thankful to get texts from my Z-Squad family
I'm thankful to have gotten to eat lunch with Majil & Amaris and to be able to sneakily buy them gelato. 😉
I'm thankful for having a car to use
I'm thankful for a loving group of friends who granted my wish of having Thanksgiving dinner before I left to Squad Lead
I'm thankful to be valued as a babysitter
I'm thankful to be valued as a friend.
I'm thankful to be able to fill in the gaps for people since I'm not nannying
I'm thankful for wonderful Co-Squad Leaders to go on this journey with
I'm thankful for breakfasts at Snooze & walks along the river with my favorite people
I'm thankful for my dubs who love each other so much that they selflessly give of their selves financially to make sure that their squadmates can come along on the WR
I'm thankful for renewal & redemption
I'm thankful for God's mercies and grace
I'm thankful for sneaky besties who keep me in the loop
I'm thankful to have a puppy to snuggle for 2 weeks who sleeps with me at night.
I'm thankful that even in the "hood" I feel safe
I'm thankful for the Lord's FAVOR
I'm thankful that the Lord gave me Squad Leading
