The World Race is over. Officially. A lot later than I imagined it would be, honestly. To say this trip has been a test of my faith in a number of different ways is an understatement. Hah. You all know what i mean: you're read the blogs, listened to my pleas for help in funding and so on. Desperate is a place I was many a time.
But I can say that through it all, Papa proved himself faithful time and time again. I am blessed beyond belief. He is sovereign, even when it's difficult to believe. I say that this race went fast but the truth is, these last few months felt like they dragged on and on and on… it could be the reason why I posted next to no blogs. In these next 2 weeks, expect many a blog. I'm going to catch you up on all things things you missed in Honduras & Nicaragua. I'm going to blog about boys and ministry things and soccer. Of happy things and tough things – stories of people. And maybe even a funny story or two. : ) (although, they might onnly be funny by my standards…)
And then I'll tell you about what it looks like to be back home. Thought processes, breakthroughs, rough stuff, and so on. It's gonna be a fun ride. This blog isn't over, it's just the next season. There are more laps to go. More life to live. And you're in the middle of it. Afterall, it's the processing that's the fun part 🙂
