I have made it through my 100th day on the race. It’s crazy to think back to a year ago I was just committing to this adventure and now I am all in. Everything is moving way faster than I could have imagined but at the same time we have many the miles to go.
When I left India I was running. Not only was the country and our ministry a challenge for me, I was running from the truth God was trying to speak over me.
Our first week in Nepal something was off. I carried some of that negativity from India to Nepal- I was still running. I had zero reasons for my mood and lack of connection with God yet I felt nothing. I LOVED Nepal but was not connecting with ministry or God.
After our first week we traveled 13 hours by bus south east to a village in the Himalayan foothills. No wifi, no running water, limited english speakers…perfection.
God used this time of intense hiking, Gospel sharing, adventure having to stir my heart. He helped me work through some deep things I have kept inside without knowing. He made me fall even deeper in love with Nepali culture and people and he challenged me in new ways.
There are so many stories I could share about Nepal, I gave away my hammock, I got tucked in by my Nepali mom after my bed got flooded by a rain storm, I washed my hair in the river, and so much more.
.. But I am not going to tell you any of them right now. FAST FORWARD, since I wrote the beginning of this blog we have finished Nepal well, had debrief, squad leaders were raised up, new team leaders we raised up , and we got new teams. Not to mention we are in Thailand now!!!
So I wanted to catch yo up but I want to be fully present with where I am and what God is doing now, not what he did.

I am excited for the joys and challenge to come and the change of an all girls team. We are so happy to be serving in Chaing Mai, Thailand this month with Lighthouse in Action. We are staying with another team and will be working in a coffee shop, doing bar ministry, and all around helping share Jesus through the ministries Lighthouse in Action has started. I am already falling in love with this country and can’t wait to see what God has for us.
