Hello Folks,
I’m just writing a little note to keep people abreast of what is going on.
I will leave home on Wednesday the 14th and head up to Prior Lake, MN to stay with some family who have graciously agreed to take me to the airport early on the 15th so I can fly to GA and attend training camp. I’ll fly back on the 25th and spend the night in Prior Lake again and drive home on the 26th.
I am excited and nervous and anxious and thrilled and scared and hopeful and doubtful and everything in between.
I will have the gear I need for the 10 days of training camp but not all of the gear I will need for the big trip. Actually, because UPS decided not to deliver my tent (the most essential missing piece) to my tiny town and transferred it to the USPS, I will have the gear on Tuesday morning, not like I’m cutting it close or anything.
I am still quite a bit behind my fundraising goal of $3900 by Thursday. I would appreciate prayers in this area and if you feel led there is a “Support Me!” link either to the left, if you are on a laptop or desktop and right above this if you are on your mobile device.
I am looking forward to meeting new people and learning more about our 11 countries and what we will be doing there. I have a list of questions I am hoping to have answered in the next two weeks and I can pass that information along as I become aware.
People have been so thoughtful and encouraging and I can see God’s hand in all of this coming together quickly! Thank you for your interest, kind words and encouragement. It means so much to me.
