– I can bow my head and put my hands together to say, “Namaste” to anyone I pass on the street
– Megh is the most hospitable, serving, and loving Nepalese father ever.
– The mountains and hills are stunning, and waking up to them every morning brings me such joy
– Curry has changed my life it’s so good.
– Every truck and bus is decorated with painted art… Nike symbols, Buddhist gods, candle sticks, hands,
etc.
– When you smile at anyone… they are guaranteed to smile back and mean it
– Everyone here wakes up at 5:30-6:00 am… and my teammates are now grandmas like me!
– The colors here are so vibrant, clothes, building colors, vehicles
– Bihm and Neemala’s food is remarkable, and I wouldn’t doubt if I’ve gained weight, oops
– The worship at church lasts for an hour and a half and everyone is enveloped in it
– People wear Aladdin pants… so now I wear Aladdin pants
– Peanut butter and honey on white bread is my Nepalese comfort food, waiting for us each morning
when we wake up
– Bargaining for gorgeous souvenirs is our team’s new favorite thing, as is prepping to send Christmas
gifts home!
– The Himalayas are a great place to trek and paraglide
– Subesh is a great worship leader, and is cocolastic at playing any song on the guitar (his word mesh of
coke and fantastic… because it’s much better than just fantastic)
– Trucks have phrases on the front bumper… “Road – King”, “Slow drive – Long life”, “Off Road –
Excursion”, “Heart – Break”…. Hilarious
– The Spirit is thick here and I have felt it since I landed in Kathmandu





Nepal has been 110% wonderful and I have loved my time here more than I can say. Thank you Nepal for treating RADIANT and I so good… and for teaching me more about my faith, who I am in Christ and who my God is. Now we're stepping into the next season…
