I’m going to start to do a wrap up of every month once I leave that country and move onto the next one. So here is my first summary…
Peoples – Raul Costa was our contact
Places – Hope Church in Draganesti-Olt, Romania
Things – Working with Raul and his mission team on bringing hope to Draganesti, so that the light brought to Southern Romania will spread to the ends of the earth. We helped with the grand re-opening of their church, preparing the church physically, and by handing out around 5000 invitations to surrounding towns and villages. We participated in many prayer sessions for the church and the missionaries there, as well as planning and running various children’s programs. We shared testimonies, sang songs, and enjoyed fellowship with some of the most passionate people I have ever met. This was a fantastic month to start my race with, and I will take their fervor, selflessness, and passion with me into the rest of the race and my life journey.
