Dear Family and Friends,
As most of you know, last January, I set out on a mission trip to Kenya for four months. It was an incredible experience that taught me a lot about myself, about the amazing provision and love of God and about what it means to be truly blessed. After only being there for a month, it was clear that God wanted to continue using me in missions work. After many weeks of prayerful consideration, I felt God leading me to step out of my comfort zone and dedicate a year of my life to missions. So, I applied to be a participant on The World Race.
The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 different countries. This July, I will have the amazing opportunity to do ministry in the following countries: Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, India, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. During these 11 months, I will do anything from feeding the hungry, working in orphanages, visiting the sick, teaching the uneducated, praying with the lonely, ministering to woman and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and teaming with local churches to evangelize to the unsaved. Nothing about this trip will be comfortable, but I am willing to follow God’s call in my life to go out and make disciples, to give to the needy, and to grow in a relationship with Him.
As I go out on this journey I would love if you would pray for me. Pray for safety and strength for me as
I travel across the world. Pray that God would use me and my squad to do His will while we travel. Pray
that I would grow in my relationship with God as He allows me to witness His hope across the nations.
Along with the support of prayer, I also need $15,500 for this trip. I do not need all of my funds before I
leave for the Race. I do, however, need $3,500 by May and $6,000 by July. I would really appreciate your prayer and support as I go on this new adventure.
