I AM SOOO Excited to be able to be apart of the World Race Missions trip! God started working in my heart to apply to become apart of this opportunity about a year ago through watching one of my friends go on one of the routes. Just watching what God was and is doing in her life has been such an encouragement to me. At first I was like no way this is to big God, there is no way! But God didn’t let up on working on my heart to apply. I was miserable the whole time I was disobedient in applying.
Finally about a month ago I was talking to one of my closest friends and she said she was just gonna ” Trust God to provide.”, this statement is what pretty much what broke me. Because I realize I wasn’t trusting in God in just the step of applying, let alone in providing for support to come in. God used that to help me take that first leap of faith. I realized that day it wasn’t about me, it was in fact all about Him!
Ever since then God has been working in my heart in learning to trust Him and let go of control. Please pray that God will be glorified through every step of the whole process in preparing for, what I believe He is leading me to do, this amazing opportunity to take 11 months to minister to others telling them about Christ.
I am so excited to see how God will use this to transform my life for His glory!
