We had a wonderful
thanksgiving last week. It was a great
time of incredible food and fellowship with our squad and coaches. We played games, worshipped, and just
enjoyed the day with one another. We
didn’t end up having Turkey in Turkey, but we did have chicken… and it was
definitely Thanksgiving worthy!
We left Istanbul on
the 28th and are now in Israel.
Since arriving, it has been
amazing to see some sites and learn from our contact about the country and
culture. We were also able to go Jerusalem, walk through Hezekiah’s tunnel, and
float in the Dead Sea.
This month my team is
also working and living with the Bedouins!
We are excited to meet and get to know these individuals! It will be a differing experience than we
have had thus far on the race but we are excited to experience life and live
with them!
