Snowing in Sebia
It snowed in Nis today, and while it was combined with a little rain there were definitely snowflakes in the mix… I was excited. There is something about the crisp cool air I just appreciate. And while everyone is freezing, I try to ignore it as long as possible and sit gazing at the flakes as they float down from above!
If you know me very well, you probably know that I “Love” the snow (almost as much as I love cereal). In college my friends brought home snow from the mountains and we totally got all our gear on and had a snowball fight. It was awesome! My friends have also told me, “Amanda I haven’t looked at snow the way you do since I was ten.” It seems like a childlike fascination to me too, but there is still something about it that amazes me!
So today I thank God for the snow (even though everyone on my team might not feel the same way) I guess God just thought I needed a little extra something from Him today and I am grateful for the gift!
