How I was called to the mission field…
Since I was baptized in the Holy Spirit in May, I have devoted myself to learning about God and His character. I began spending my time studying His Word this summer, meditating on it and praying. Then I began to realize that I want nothing more than to spend my life seeking Him more and more!! He is amazing.
I was concerned about school in fall… Not wanting to go at all, my mom stressed the importance of my education. Sitting in class… my mind wondered about the living God, about His plan for my life, and nothing was matching up to what I was hearing in school. It kept me from learning more about Him, and I hungered for His word!
I decided to drop my classes for the semester, (Mom was not happy) and He put the desire in my heart to go across the world. Never having considered missions before (honestly, not even knowing what they were) He showed me The World Race July 2011. I knew it was what God wanted for me. So without delay, I signed up. Needless to say, everyone thinks I’m crazy!!! Maybe I am!!
I desire to live spontaneously under the Lord’s direction. God-willing I will be a missionary journeying place to place to spread the Good News.
😀 I’m so excited about this opportunity God has given me to partake on this mission. I can’t wait to see how God uses us for His Kingdom!
