Has been one of the countries I was looking forward to.
1. Because we are the first World Race Squad to come here. Which I love that idea.
2. Everything I heard about it made me excited to go.
3. Latvia Drew told us about someone there.
So go back to March our first month in Europe in Riga, Latvia. We had the task of being Unsung heros. So Cori, Katie and I went to a little town called kuldiga and met this man, Matiss or aka Latvia Drew. When we told him about the countries we had left to go to. When he heard about Mongolia he was like “oh I have a friend there, we went to Bible College in the states.” He gave us this guy’s name.
At the end of the month I contacted him, sent him a message giving him the whole World Race spill, he got back to me and said he was already working with world Race to have a team in Mongolia in the summer. Which I was excited because I was like Hey! That’s me! I will say I did pray that he would be my teams contact. so after all of that back story I can say…… That he is our Contact. Chinzo! I will say when I heard he was my teams contact i was a lot excited!!
We are with another team this month Chasing the Deep. Our teams will be working together doing different things this month. Feeding the Homeless, helping clean, paint, and decorate at the compound where the kitchen for the homeless is at. We have cleaned and painted at a soccer ministry, played soccer. Have done prayer walks, gone to open mic night at a Christian coffee shop. We will be going to help build a church here in the next few days, and who knows what else we find to do.
Pray for my Team that we would just be able to always keep our eyes open, to be obedient to God, even if that means stopping and praying for some stranger on the street, that it would just become part of who we are. To keep Jesus the focus of everything we do.
Just a little bit from Mongolia
