Happy late Thanksgiving
I hope you all had a fantastic day with your family, ate lots of food, and were very thankful. (still are thankful)
As it has been awhile since I have updated you all. I would like to say a big thanks to everyone who has supported me so far. It has been a crazy experiences seeing all this money, encouragement, and prayers for me. I could not be doing this without all of you!!!
As my account is now at 12,030 which means I just have 4,255 left to raise before it I am fully funded. Which blows my mind. It’s been a big trust thing for me and it has been tested a lot here lately when I realized that I’m not going to have enough time to save personal money for myself. Between buying all my gear, getting shots, airline tickets. Which means I have to fundraise for that as well. (Which I will get into that in a different blog)
So back to being thankful. Which I am. Beyond a doubt!! I’ve learned I don’t accept gifts like this very well. I don’t know how to react, how to show how thankful I really am. It makes me a little uncomfortable.
So in honor of being at $12,000 here are 12 things I’m thankful for.
1.) My family! We’re crazy and all so different. I can’t imagine growing up without them.
2.) My church family. (They seriously are the best church family ever!! I couldn’t imagine doing this without them)
3.) My friends. I’m so thankful for them and how they put up with my crazieness. I’m not sure what I’m going to do without them.
4.) The HBC youth group. These kids are the best. It’s gonna be strange to miss a year of them growing after being with them for almost 4years
5.) I’m thankful for parents who never let Christmas be about a man with a white beard and a red suit and all the gifts from him.
6.) I’m thankful for a God who not only knows my true needs but will provided for them.
7.) I’m thankful that I can see.
8.) I’m thankful for my Kansas Jayhawks.
9.) I’m thankful for the group of young ladies I have been able to share my life with a lot here lately.
10.) I’m thankful for Zsquad and my team. This next year is going to be a crazy one with them for sure.
11.) I am thankful for the week I’m getting to spend with my friends before I leave
12.) I am thankful for all the love and support, that I have received from everyone around me.
