This
past weekend I had the joy of seeing so many of my brothers and
sisters in Christ that I left behind when I graduated from college. I
know I’ve been away for a little over a year and so much has changed,
so many new students, babies born, newlyweds and so on. However, they
all still welcome me with open arms and I can see how much they love
and care for me. I then realize how much I miss my ‘family’ that I
had there; and that no matter how much time passes they will still
welcome me and love me.
This
weekend was so refreshing to me, especially since my heart has felt
so heavy in recent weeks. I was able to be uplifted and encouraged
and deeply blessed. I was able to bless them too, even if it was
helping cook and cleaning the kitchen. 🙂
I
am so grateful to God for putting such an amazing church family in my
life while I was in college. I’m so grateful that even though I’m not
there anymore they are still my family. I am definitely grateful for
the joy that comes from being with family again. Thank you Lord!
For
all of you Pullmanites/Cougs thank you for being in my life, thank
you for being happy to see me as I was to see you, thank you for your
prayers. I do love you guys a lot!
