Some of the girls have been giving me a hard time because I haven’t written a single blog this month. The truth is that we have been doing so many different things that writing a blog has been quite a daunting task! This month the girls separated from the guys. Our team joined with two other teams to make up 15 girls. We have been working in the city and province of Ubonratchatani, which is in East Thailand near the border of Laos. We are in a province that is mostly unreached (less than 0.15% Christians). We are double-timing it, seeking to reach the lost and encourage the few believers that are pouring themselves out already.

Teaching English

We have been working with a church and have done just about everything including painting a building, helping to bulid a home, hanging out with the youth,  teaching English, teaching a seminars , and encouraging addicts at a hospital. We also traveled to different villages just about every day  to encourage the believers that are there, do evangelism to the nearby people, and do dramas, testimonies, and worship for any of the public that desires to attend. There really isn’t anything that we haven’t done! The church that we are working with has a very healthy group of youth who are passionate about seeing the Gospel spread. They have been doing ministry alongside us all month. It is so encouraging to see a group of youth who are willing to sacrifice their time to do ministry and who pour themselves out passionately in an area that is not very familiar with the God they serve. I am excited to hear how these young men and women continue to impact Ubon!
