Today I am beginning a journey to Moore, Oklahoma. I met a woman in the airport in Dallas who told me I’m an inspiring person for doing the things I have done in my life. I don’t see myself as anyone special. I just know that being able to help people and love them exactly where they are in life makes me incredibly happy. I grew up knowing that helping people would not only enrich the lives of those I help but it would greatly influence and enrich my life as well. But, as I have grown as a woman and as a Christian I have added the blessing of letting people know that I love them because Christ first loved me. I am on my flight to Oklahoma as I write this and I am declaring love, peace, and healing over the community of Moore. I have no idea what I’m stepping into when I get off of this plane, but I know that God does not make mistakes in his plans and I am on my way to Moore today, and will be here for nine days for a purpose. I knew as soon as this tornado hit that I needed to come here. I don’t know why, but I sure am glad that God is in the funny business of bringing people together in the most interesting places and situations specifically for His glory. Thank you for those who made this trip possible. I am greatly blessed to be able to do this and I hope to continually honor you and your gift to me by bringing all the honor and glory to Jesus. I don’t know what this adventure holds, but thank you for partnering with me and coming on this journey with me. I will probably not have many opportunities to blog while here but I will update for sure when I get home. Do something wonderful today.
Much love,
A
