Often times when people pray, they “invite” God to come into
their time, sometimes people ask “God just come and be present here with us”,
as if he wasn’t there already.  Now, if
you pray like that I promise it is not my intention to discourage you, just maybe
to think about it a little differently. God is already in that space. He is
omnipresent and omnipotent and omniscient. You don’t have to invite him, he is
there already. His presence is always there. In that we can pray with the
authority we have been given in Christ to speak life to things. We can pray
with expectancy knowing that God is going to be glorified and show up whether
he gives us what we want or not.

I know that in my finances I don’t have to invite God into
my finances because He has already been doing a work in them since before the
Race and has continued to work in them since coming on the race.

My final financial deadline is coming up. This is one of the
last of these blogs. The race has humbled me so much in learning how to rely on
so many different people to keep me here on the field, when I wish I could just
provide for myself.

My final financial deadline is July 1st. I need
to have the whole $15,500 in my account by that day to be able to finish the
race. As of right now, with  a month left
until the deadline I need about $2,700. This amount seems so much more tangible
now that I have had a deadline to meet so many times. The fact that this is the
final one seems so crazy to me. I am so close to being done fundraising!! It is
still a lot, but it doesn’t seem as scary.

I know that God has me out here still for a reason and each
time he blows away my mind with how he provides. I am sure this deadline will
be no different. Thank you to all of my supporters. I love you all so much. Seriously
whether it was $2 by buying a bracelet or $5 or $10 or $2500 or more I am so
thankful for you and how you are helping me achieve this goal. I love my life,
probably more than I ever have. I am growing so much and changing [but I’m
still me, just a better version of me]. Getting to continue on the race and
finish it would just be so amazing. So, as I humble myself again and ask my
blog readers again… Please pray about supporting me through this final
deadline, whether it is $5 or $50 or $500 or $2500 so that I can finish the
race. If you don’t pray then just think about this: if you had just spent 5
months overseas doing something you love, and $5 could make a difference
between you getting to stay and spend another 6 months doing what you love or
going back to the states to another boring job, what would you want? Just a
thought. I love what is going on out here on the field. Some days are hard, but
the hard days are worth it to experience the good days.

Much love and gratitude,

Amanda
