First I would like to say Hello from Honduras!!
Welcome to month three of my race and as always thanks for following and
supporting this amazing journey!

We started our month in Honduras with four days of debrief.
We spent four days at a beautiful hotel up in the mountains in the beautiful
quaint city of Valle
de Angeles. It was the first time our squad was all together since we left each
other at the airport in Guatemala.
It was four days of stretching, growth, connection, love, tears, and joy. It
was four days of learning new things, finding places in my heart that were
buried away, meeting new important people (this is a shout out to our AMAZING
COACHES Randy and Betsy!!! I know you guys are creeping ;], love you both!!), and
time to worship together as a squad.

Debrief was also a time of a few changes within my team.
Four changes actually. My team leader, Kelly, stepped down into a time of rest
and Brittany
was asked to step up into being our new team leader. I was super excited for
Britters and I am excited for Kelly to enter this season of rest. Brit’s
previous role on our team was the finance person, and since she can’t really do
both, I was asked to step up into that role. So now I am the finance person for
my team. We also had one girl leave our team and a new girl come onto our team!
So yeah, wow that was a crazy amount of change for just a few short days. But
so far it has been so good. Some day soon I will have a team picture for you
all to see, but for now I can just tell you a little bit about who we are, our
new team name, and our vision for this new season in our lives.

Britters- She is stepping into a role that is something that
is pretty new. She is learning to delegate and lead with grace, love, and
consistency. Brit continues to just overflow with her wisdom and joy that she
finds in the Lord.

Naomi- This beautiful woman is learning how to let the Lord
romance her and follow his leading in her life. Her voice is fierce and strong
and it is beautiful to witness her finding it.

Kelly- Rest is not something Kelly is used to in her life.
She is strong and beautiful and powerful and is learning a new balance between
work, ministry, and rest. It is a hard, but necessary process.

Suzy- Our graceful and peaceful spirit, Suz is leaning into
the promises the Lord gives her daily as she tests and finds the truth surrounding
her beautiful self as she walks through life.

Robin- The newest addition to the family, as we learn more
about Robin we know that she has truly always had a place on this team. We are
now united in a new and awesome way. As she walks out this season of her life,
we are thrilled to walk with her.

Me- As for me, I am excited about stepping into this new
role as terrific team treasurer and I am learning so much about freedom and
healing that I didn’t even know needed to happen in my heart. I am glad that I
have these sisters to walk with me.

Even though Robin is our only new teammate, we are an
entirely new team. So along with that, we got a new team name! So I am no
longer part of Team Raja [A Patient Hope]. The six of us are now Team Awaken!!!

This is a season for us to awaken new things within
ourselves, to awaken new passions, new dreams, and new joy. We are in a
springtime season of growing, blossoming, and awakening new hope for what is to
come. Not only are we awakening new things within our team, we are awakening
things within the whole squad and we have high hopes to continue to stir these
things up among other world racers- former, current, and future. We are bold. We
are powerful. We are strong. We are continually being made new. We are
beautiful. We are Team Awaken.

This month our squad is living together and we are doing
some really awesome ministries that involve a lot of freedom to be who we are
and work in things that we feel passionate about. It is really exciting and I
will blog about that soon. Where we live we have access to internet but it
costs money and there is only so much that I’m willing to pay to get internet
access.

Much love,

-A
