yeah…this isn´t a “real” blog, it´s more so a prod to check out my new pictures. Click the PHOTOS link over there on the left and see what I´ve been up to recently. I put captions on them all to explain a bit. It´s basically a real piece of work on this site to put tons of pictures in a blog, so I do it this way for ease…mine and yours! plus…it´s about time to leave the internet cafe!
This afternoon we´re teaching some of the teenagers from the church the Set Me Free drama that we know and they are performing it at the center plaza in Diriamba tomorrow. It will be a good time I´m sure. Ministry here has been going well. I´m learning a ton and God is really stretching me a lot. Our team is learning how we function together and how to communicate. Living this life together really is an adventure. I love it!
We just got back from a few days at the beach…our weekend and our two days off…it was super relaxing, even though I had a major run in with a sea urchin (see pics). Riding the waves, getting tossed around and flipped upside down over and over again was definitely the highlight. I had quite an adventure too…the fall on the urchin, the mild concussion falling out of a hammock, and I came home with a pretty serious sunburn…but it was definitely worth it all! First time swimming in the Pacific–yee ha! God is good!
