Hello!
If you are wondering who I am and what I am all about, you have come to the right place. Here are the highlights I think might be most important. But if you feel you need to know more just ask, I’m pretty transparent these days. But the truth is…it’s not about me! I will share a bit about myself here, but really it’s about God. Period.
I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. Though raised a LOBO fan, I decided to go to school at our southern rivalry, New Mexico State University. AGGIES! And I am so very happy I made that decision for my life because through some pretty cool experiences and by meeting really amazing people, I came to know Christ during that time in my life.
It was also during my time at NMSU that I discovered my passion and excitement for missions. After learning I was given a servants heart in Pass Christian, MS doing Hurricane Katrina Relief, and realizing my heart aches for orphans in Uganda, Africa I have been in a place of hoping and waiting for the Lord to release me back into missions. After graduation from NMSU, I left New Mexico to attend Denver Seminary in Colorado (hands down the coolest, most exciting state. But I’m biased). After completing one year and realizing I was simply burnt out on school I decided to take time off. After a year of working and still waiting for my heart’s desire for missions, I felt release to participate in the World Race!
This past year and a half has been what I would say as “painfully beautiful.” Matters of the heart have been worked on (a story for another time, perhaps) and some very special people have been put into my life. I’m thrilled with what has and continues to happen here, but look forward to this next exciting chapter in ministry.
