Hey yall! We have made it to the end of month 7 and have started our transition into month 8- the Philippines!! We safely arrived in Manila on the 29th after a very long but smooth couple days of travel from Johannesburg. Our team is currently in Manila at a mission base and will be heading out tomorrow for the island Puerto Galera with another team to begin ministry with Threads of Hope. Thus far, we are loving the Philippines, the people here, the children in the orphanage we have gotten to hangout with (even snuggle with a 2 week old baby!!), riding in motorcycle carts and Jeepnes (like a Haiti taptap, but even better…reminds me of a video game or carnival ride.
