So it has been two weeks since training camp, and I am still trying to form the words to write this blog. I could probably share a blog about each day.

I could spend lots of time telling you of all the late nights, the falls from the hammock, the sneaky spiders, or how we ate with our hands all from the same plate. There are so many things I could tell you, and although they all would make a great story that is not what matters.

What does matters is what God did, what I learned, and the family I made. Okay, so this is where it gets tough. God did so much, and showed up in such huge ways that it is hard for me to know where to begin.

First off I am going to be spending this next year with some really awesome people! Meet my crazy, awesome, Y squad!!

Just a week and a half with them and I truly love them all! God brought us all together in a way that only He could. They are some of the most Godly people I have ever met. I am so blessed to be able to do life with them for the next year, and disciple each other just like Christ did. I also learned that God is REAL. I know duh..we all know this! I mean like really real though like he wants to interact and make himself known to us. Daily! How cool is that?!?

So at training camp we talked about false identities, why we put on these false identities, and the process it takes to finding our true identity. We were able to break into smaller groups and talk through some of this (breaking into small groups and talking through things became a regular event) at some point one of my squad trainers asked if I have ever asked God what his favorite thing was about me. I hadn’t so this became something I began praying about, and through a squad mate God revealed to me that He is in love with my smile and that it brings Him immense amounts of joy. Now, I find this pretty awesome!

We also learned about the importance of forgiveness and the freedom we can find when we forgive those who hurt us.

I learned that there is power in speaking out loud to others the struggles you have after you have brought it to God.

I learned to not live in shame! I also learned the difference between shame and guilt and how destructive shame is, and how guilt is a good thing.

I learned that it is not about how much you know but about the relationship.

I learned that God is madly in love with me!

I also learned that the Holy Spirit is unbelievably awesome! He abides with us always, do you hear that God is always abiding with us.

I also learned that God is already going on this mission to the nations, He doesn’t need to use me to do it. But we can embark on it together.

There is so much more that I experienced and learned at training camp. Truthfully I am still trying to process and learn some of it. Training camp definitely got me excited for this Kingdom Journey I will be leaving for on September 5th. With that being said, meet Team Nani! These beautiful ladies are the ones I will be doing ministry with

My launch date is quickly approaching. I would love to spend time with as many of you as possible, and share more about what God has done in me at training camp and what I will be doing this next year!

I also have my next fundraising goal due by August 21st. Currently I have raised $7,130. I have been so blessed by everyone’s support thus far, and want to thank you all who have donated and sent countless prayers.

If you would still like to donate you can do so by clicking the “support me” tab at the top or left hand side of this page

God Bless,
