I’m sitting on a pile of backpacks, about 3ft way from a dead rat. It was probably the biggest rat I have ever seen and completely swarmed with flesh eating red ants. While I’m trying not to look at it, I turn my head to the left and someone is shoving a basket full of fried bugs in my face. You name the bug they have it: tarantula, cricket, worms, beetles, cockroach, etc. Turn my head to the right, men were spitting on the ground wayy too close to me and why were they eating bugs? I’m not so sure that’s what I want to be eating around 8am. The only thing I could think to do was close my eyes and hope if I opened them, I would be somewhere else. I open my eyes a few minutes later, nope still in the same place:

Welcome to Cambodia!

We are exhausted. They were right about month 10 and 11. I think all the days traveling and never staying in one spot have caught up with me and my team. It’s be hard to get out of bed and naps are needed throughout the day. God blessed us with the time to rest. We ended up entering into Cambodia during a Holiday! In fact we have had the whole week off! Our contact at YWAM has been nothing but sweet to us and cooking us amazing meals. She is from the Philippines so that means so Cambodian food! Whew, got out of eating bugs. Next week we will start teaching English to the youth. How do you explain, and, it, so, or but? Sounds impossible to me.

While we are still thankful for so many things we are still tired. Prayers for the team are needed:)

Thanks
