Thailand is infested with ants. And not nice ones. Big red ones. Having ants in your pants is actually awful. I've always thought it was a funny saying. But I've learned to dance.
Dance, when I'm working hard all day. Planting pineapples and bananas. Dance, when chopping down bamboo and trees with machetes to make a walking path. Actually what typically happens is me just trying to pull out the bamboo with my bare hands because the boys always have the right to machetes first. And I have to do something so there is no hurt trying. I think I'm getting stronger. But the ants will attack you no matter what your doing. Even when I'm trying to play a game of volleyball with the children.
So all I got to do is dance and smack your legs and arms. And the ants will go away! Let's face it, I'm tired of working "the land". I never knew what that meant before the race but now I'm out there everyday. It's making me have wrinkles and back problems. I LOVE being inside. There are so many great things to do. Taking a shower, making cookies, eating cookies, cleaning, napping, etc. I think I'm never going outside when I get home. That's for sure. Also, I didn't enjoy playing with kids at home now I've been doing with a total of 9 months. I'm a little tired of doing things I don't enjoy doing.
Now I just gotta dance like when I have ants in my pants. And of course, with a big smile on my face:)
