I'm here in Thailand with my new all girls team; working with an organization called Remember Nhu (remembernhu.org). Listen to Nhu's story on the website. She  was sold by her grandma twice. Here it's not uncommon to sell your child, grandchild, niece, cousin, etc., into the sex slave. So remember Nhu is trying to prevent that. Hundreds of at risk children are being brought into safe homes. In these homes they are loved, provided for, and educated.

We have been working along side 2 girls homes and 1 boys home. We play and rotate eating meals with them. In the mornings and early afternoons we work on their land so they can have food. They have many different cash crops on the land. The boys have been teaching me some ninja moves and the girls have been testing my jump rope skills. There is nothing better than seeing these kids smile. The difference with these kids is that you don't have to do anything to make them simile. They are already smiling.

Last month and the beginning of this month was hard for me but it's cool seeing God being my comfort. I love chocolate but I took a chocolate fast that started month 5. I know this is a super girly thing to say but good chocolate really does make me feel better. I got to Swaziland (last month) and every week someone was giving me some chocolate. I would find chocolate on my bed. A girl that did the world race a while ago that we met in Swaziland randomly and she blessed us with chocolate. Last week my friend Katrina found me some Reese's cups, which haven't been in any other country. Then yesterday it was a long day and I was sad. But I prayed that I could some how get some chocolate. After ministry our contacts stop by at store and asked if anyone wanted chocolate…

I love The Lord.
