Yes, World Racers usually travel a lot. Every three weeks, pick up, pack up and move on to another country. This month three of us-Nathan Salley, Garrett McNeill and me-get to do the picking up, packing up and moving on even more frequently. That’s why there hasn’t been an update about “ministry”. Our location changes every three to four days.

I want to go back and live with this family for a year 🙂
El Salvador, Santa Tecla. “Mi Casa” a home for orphans, but so not a typical orphanage. 9 girls live in the home normally. Add Team Beloved, O squad’s all girls team, and you have 16 girls in one house full of love. We stayed with Beloved at the home for 3 days. The morning we left started with the girls crying upstairs while I packed. Then when all the backpacks were downstairs and our ride to the bus stop was later than expected, Salley had Rosa sobbing into his armpit, the front of Garrett’s shirt was wet with the girls tears, and I was attempting not to tear up. I didn’t expect to become that connected to girls or a ministry that quickly. It was honestly harder for me to leave that ministry after those three days than it has been to leave some of the ministries I’ve been at for weeks at a time. Blessings unexpected.
We’re with my team, Deep Waters, right now in San Rafael Cedro. Tomorrow we’ll be moving on to San Salvador. In the middle of these last few weeks, God is teaching me things far beyond what I expected. He’s refining me. Showing me more of who He can be in my life. And slowly helping me come to grips with the idea of being back in the States. 🙂 Gotta run so we can get to the “crusade” tonight. Love this life.
