I recently realized (again) that I haven’t exactly shared a lot of life details. Like when I’m getting home. This isn’t exactly “Breaking News” because I’ve known for a while, but I’m pretending.

So…May 12th! Landing in Montgomery late that night. Thinking about heading home has brought about a lot of mixed emotions.

I’m excited about…
seeing so many people I’ve been missing
cuddling with my puppy

swimming at the Nat

                             going to the gym
Wednesday night youth group at Mont. 1st
              drinking Dr Pepper
                                                              getting a hot shower

But more than any of that, I’m excited about continuing this life.

I’m excited about…
what the next two months hold for me and the rest of O squad

the crazy and amazing things the Lord is going to do in our lives

living life alongside El Salvadorians and Guatemalans thru April and May

diving deeper into what the Lord has for me

what will happen with the desire I have for more of the Lord and whatever He has for me each day.
what it means to rest in Him while still being compelled to live out Love every day

And while the puppy and hot showers and Dr Pepper will probably have to wait until I get back home, the rest of this is going to happen as I continue on with where the Lord has me now, and where I choose to go and what I choose to do after I arrive in Dallas airport with the rest of O squad.

Currently, I’m in Honduras for a few days. Garrett McNeill, Nathan Salley (the two guys I have the amazing privilege to lead the squad with) and I will be heading to El Salvador ahead of the rest of the squad. In El Salvador we get to travel throughout the country and visit all of our teams.

Prayers for direction are greatly appreciated. Prayers for what we’re doing in the next two months are appreciated. Muchas gracias for all of your support, prayers, encouragement. It’s been a sweet trip to this point, and it’s going to continue to be a sweet journey after May 12th.
