Hellllo WorldRace 2012! And hello to my first of many to come mission trips!
My name is Alonna Spears. I was born and raised in Southeast Michigan until around 2007, when my family relocated to Bowling Green, Ky. I have lived short term with family members in Texas and also sweet home Alabama(MY FAVORITE!). I mainly resided though in Michigan and Kentucky. I am now 20 years old, a student who is taking a break from college to explore this big wide world He created for us. I am excited for the future God has for me!
Growing up in a world of Pentecostal influence has really molded and shaped me into what I am today, along with a few bumps in the road here and there. My parents and also grandparents all have had a tremendous part in my spiritual walk teaching me what was instilled in them as children. I LOVE THE LORD! Love Him so much! God has been a constant in my life. Even when at times, I foolishly thought maybe I could do without Him. So many times He has picked me up along the way and placed my feet right where they should have stayed in the first place. His Holy Spirit surrounds me and provides a way when there seems to be no way!
I have been through alot in life, seeing certain events happen around me has really opened my eyes to the fact, ITS TIME TO AS A PEOPLE TO QUIT RUNNING FROM HIM & BEGIN RUNNING FOR AND TO HIM! Trusting Him wholly was the greatest decision I have made so far and I am not only thrilled but on fire to see what not only He has in store for me, but what I have to offer Him. Considering Calvary nothing will ever be greater than what HE gave, but I am willing to forever try. Im nowhere near perfect, but with Christ by my side I can be a great new creation!
