God is good. So good. We spent the month of May in the lovely home of Pastor Joseph, his wife Frieda, and three amazing children, Peace, Aggie, and Joshua. We spent the first few days in Jinja, Uganda since a few girls still needed to rest, think, recover from some things that happened in Kenya. We rested, read, woshiped, prayed, and kayaked the Nile! It was beautiful to look out and see the Lord in what He has created, and to remember and rejoice in His goodness.
Our ministry was in Mukono, Uganda, and we worked with Christ Ambassadors' Church. We got to visit men and women from the church, hear their stories, pray with them, be loved on by tons of beautiful children who live around the church, and we spent a few days trying to help level the road to the church. We shoveled dirt and moved rocks to try to fill in the holes. It was quite the adventure 🙂 On Wednesdays we got to teach Bible studies at some of the homes of the church members which was one of my favorite parts of the month.
Memories from Uganda:
dancing with the children at church
Laughing with Aggie and Peace
Hearing Joshua talk about the Lord
Bungee jumping over the Nile
House visits and hearing stories of the locals
