Fundraising—not the most exciting word.

I can’t say that I enjoy asking for money, but the reality is, it is part of missions, and it is so encouraging to know that my friends and family members are supportive of what I am doing.

I was beyond blessed when I received a letter last week from a wonderful friend and her future husband who wanted to contribute to my mission trip when they are only weeks away from being married! In the midst of all of their expenses, the fact that they thought of me, and the work God is going to be doing, was truly humbling. It is through moments like this that I realize—when the Lord has a plan, He will provide the means to carry out that plan.

I have had numerous people offer to help in one way or another with fundraising, and others donated money before I even sent out support letters! God really does bless above and beyond.

So thank you to everyone who has already contributed in one way or another, and thank you in advance to those of you who plan to support me financially and especially through your prayers. I could not do this without all of you.
