Hey everyone,
I would love it if you took the time to read my latest fundraising letter below! I need $4,125 by the end of December in order to be able to continue the World Race in Asia.
——————————————————————————————————————————————–
Dear family and friends,
As you may know, I am currently in Africa as part of my 11-month mission trip called The World Race. We have just arrived in Kenya and begun our fourth month of ministry, which consists of a number of things: prison ministry, hospital visits, orphanages, door-to-door evangelism, prayer meetings, worship, and speaking at churches, schools, youth meetings, and small groups. Our experience here so far has been like no other, and I am beyond excited to be in Africa. The Christians here worship with passion, joy, and abandonment. I've never met people with such sweet spirits and open hearts – we mzungus (the Swahili word for "white people") are greeted with excitement every time we go out of the house. I am believing God for big things this month, and I can't wait to see what He is going to do.
God has already moved mightily in our last three countries. In Ireland, we led an atheist friend from our hostel to Jesus, and saw many little girls come to Christ during our week at camp. In Ukraine, we got to be part of the work God is already doing in that country – my highlight there was getting to know and encourage 4 Spirit-filled gypsy boys who aspire to be pastors and missionaries for Jesus. And in Moldova, we bonded with a pastor and his family who have withstood threats on their lives from the Mafia and the government and built a thriving church of hundreds who are on fire for God. We taught English to non-Christians there, and were able to build relationships with our students and initiate conversations with them about the Lord.
This has been a life-changing experience already and such an opportunity to be used by God for His purposes. In order to stay on this journey, I need to raise an additional $4,125 by the end of December to meet my final financial deadline of $15,500. I would greatly appreciate any donation you are able to give. I know that God has called me to this trip and that He will provide what is needed through the generosity of others. Would you please prayerfully consider giving?
