Daughter of Zion. Gina is a true daughter of Zion and I was so blessed by her this year. The Lord pulled, stretched and pulled some more this year in Gina’s life and I stand amazed at the mighty work He did in her life.
From the beginning, Gina fought some uphill battles and I still marvel at all the things she overcame this year. Gina is a tad bit older than the rest of this crazy crowd and she put up with a lot of our crazy shenanigans with a lot of grace.
I honestly don’t think I can express the depth of things I learned from Gina this year, but the greatest thing I can take away is love for the Lord. Gina sought the heart of God unlike anyone I have ever met and I learned new levels of prayer and worship from this awesome woman.
A day didn’t go by where I was not challenged to seek the heart of God in a deeper way. The month I shared a room with Gina I was encouraged so much by the way she chased after God morning after morning. I have never experienced such devotion and passion for Jesus.
Just by the way that Gina lived her life I was challenged to dig a little deeper and push a little harder for the heart of God. She is an incredible prayer warrior and there is not a person on the squad who has not benefited from her intercession.
Gina, thank you for being you. Thank you for remaining true to who the Lord called you to be in the midst of adversity. Your strength, courage, and passion inspire me. I pray that the Lord blesses your next steps. I love you girl! Thank you for teaching me to live Psalm 94:16 “Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?” I am a changed person because of your prayer and wisdom. Allison
