Brooke is a servant extraordinaire. I have never met anyone with a heart like Brooke’s. She served us, served others, and then served a little more. I was so blessed by the way she quietly and humbly served everyone around her. She is an amazing cook and we ate well because of her!
Brooke is on team Zion and lived through some hard things this year. They had some team changes and a loss of a good friend, among other challenges and she always remained strong and smiling through everything.
My favorite thing about Brooke was the way she spoke truth in all circumstances. I could always count on her to be honest and speak her mind, but she always did it in love and with the heart of Jesus.
Silas and Brooke came on the Race as a dating couple and were engaged while we were out and about. We are all looking forward to their wedding August as our first reunion. We had the privledge all year of watching the two of them walking in a Godly relationship and were blessed by their example.
Brooke has an amazing heart for children and the Lord uses her in a huge way in Children’s ministry. There was not a country we went to where she was not in love with a child and God gave her a huge gifting to reach them. She sings silly songs with the best of them and has the patience of a saint. I am waiting for the day when she and Silas have millions of children running all over the place.
Brooke, it was my pleasure to serve with you this year. Thank you for being eternally patient and loving to everyone around you. You are one of the kindest people I have ever met and your loyalty and compassion for those you love inspires me. Thank you for loving us like you did all year long. See you in August!
