We have been working with a local hospital, Hermano Pedro, with the handicapped kids while we have been here. It is both hard and amazing spend our time with them. Because of societal norms people with disabilities are usually shunned and children are sometimes abandoned. The hospital also serves as an orphanage for these children.
We were given the chance to take the kids to Pollo Campero (like Chick-fil-a) and they LOVED it. Such joy!!!
