As our time in Asia sadly comes to an end we are about to embark on quite the travel adventure.

Friday, February 1st:  Depart 4am for the Airport for an early flight through Tokyo.

A few quick hours in Tokyo.   And then on to LOS ANGELES!

We actually leave Manila Friday at 8AM and arrive in LA at Friday at 8AM.  Gotta love crossing the date line!

We will get 48 glorious hours on American soil in which i am getting some special visitors:  MY PARENTS!!

Panera, TARGET, a hot shower and lots of fun will greet us in LA.  We will actually get to see some 2007 World Racers as well and we are so excited to catch up with them.  Praise God for a quick respite and good friends and family.

We hop a plane Sunday morning through Miami and land Sunday night in Managua, Nicaragua.

A few prayer requests:

-Traveling mercies and safety.  It is always a little exciting traveling with 25 people, so just pray for favor with customs agents, flight personnel, etc…and of course, the all important luggage!

-Pray for our time in LA.  As amazing as it will be to be back Stateside, I think there is an added element of culture shock (and sticker shock!!) of touching down there for a short time.  Pray that we all maintain our focus and stay the course on the race in the midst of familiar things.

-Pray for our hearts as we close one chapter of the race and start the final leg.  It feels that we have been in Asia for ages and yet time as flown.

Pray as we enter Latin America and all the fun that comes with it.  God has some big stuff lined up for us and we are excited to see where he takes us!

Thanks for following along…God’s blessings to all of you!
