After MANY hours in a bus, we made it safely to Cambodia. Thank you for all your prayers! it always amazes me how God cares about the little things like my luggage and safe travel!
We have had a few days to settle in and learn more about the Cambodian culture and history. Saturday we had a city tour of Phnom Penh and the surrounding area. I was shocked to learn about the violent history of this culture, and even more shocked at my ignorance. These things had happened in MY lifetime and I had never even heard about it. I have a lot more rolling around in my brain about this topic, but am still processing how to reconcile all of it with the goodness of God.
